VietNamNet Bridge – On the invitation of the Viet Nam Hockey Federation, the Australian field hockey men and women teams will be in HCM City from March 31 to April 7 to promote field hockey in the country.

A contingent comprising 30 male and 30 female hockey players, coaches and officials will participate in a seven-day hockey tour.

On April 1-2, there will be hockey matches against the Viet Nam men’s and women’s teams at the Viet Nam Hockey Centre located in Ben Luc Town in the southern province of Long An.

The Singapore Crescent team and Saigon International Hockey Club based in District 2 in HCM City will also participate in the hockey matches.

The Australian men’s hockey is ranked No 4 in the world and the Australian women’s team are in the top 4 in the world.
