Automobiles which are priced higher in Viet Nam than in regional countries is the reason for the sluggish development of the automobile industry, experts say.

 Though Vietnam's automotive market holds promise from rising per capita incomes and a huge population, carmakers remain plagued by inconsistent government policies.
