The center of the Ba Na peak is on Chua Mount at an altitude of 1489 m above sea level, with a year-round cool climate, and the average temperature of around 18ºC in summer. Over the years this place has become a famous resort.

During an expedition searching for a new resort of the French army in 1901, the Ba Na peak was found. It is located in a region of the Truong Son Mountains in Ninh Hoa Commune, Hoa Vang District, 25 km to the southwest Da Nang. On March 5, 2004, Linh Ung Pagoda with the 27 meter statue of Sakyamuni Buddha was completed here. To get to the top, tourists have to pass through the jungle and winding trails through a 15 km distance.

In 2006, a private group invested in the construction of Ba Na Hills resort with the largest cable system in the world, turning this mountain into one of the leading resorts in Vietnam.

The feature of this resort is that it is built into a complex of old French-style castles, with many services and entertainment services.

The central cable car station is located right in the center of the top, with the cable length of over 5,770 m. To go from the foot to the top, it takes about 30 minutes.

Located in the very center of Ba Na top is Morin hotel, which was built in 1919. 

Located halfway on the mountain is Debay hotel, built in the early 20th century with the old French architecture.

Opened last April, the seven-hectare garden of love (Le Jardin d'Amour) includes many small gardens, a cellar, greenhouses, and a maze.

Each garden with many kinds of flowers is designed with various themes.

Located on the highest point of the Chua mountain is a complex of newly-built spiritual works, including the Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple, Phong Linh Tower, the bell tower, the stele house and Lady Temple.

The central area of the top of Ba Na has been expanded into a French village.

The complex of a four-star hotel, a church, a shopping mall and a museum will open on April 25.
