17 general directorates cut, salaries of state officers raised

Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra says the government plans to cut 17 general directorates and equivalent units, eight authorities, 145 departments and equivalent units. The base salary is expected to rise by 20.8 percent.
