Vietnamese startup True Platform (Base Global) has completed the seed round capital call with investment of $3.5 million.

The seed round of True Platform attracted famous funds such as January Capital, Alpha JWC Ventures and BEENEXT, FPT Corporation and other individual investors.

Analysts commented that this was one of the largest investments in tech startups in Southeast Asia in recent years.

True Platform is a tech startup, making debut in late 2021. This is a digital transformation startup and its major products are the platforms to support the administration and management of enterprises that help them manage transactions, increase the loyalty, communicate continuously and work with clients more effectively.

Right from the very beginning, the startup decided that it would become a global company.

True Platform is a startup founded by Pham Kim Hung, who is also in the post of CEO. Hung is also the founder of Base.vn, a digital transformation startup that FPT Corporation bought in May 2021.

While the products of Base.vn aim at supporting enterprises to optimize internal operating processes (linking divisions, handling proposals and human resources management, etc… within enterprises), the products of True Platform aim to help enterprises optimize their operation, interactions and transactions with clients.

According to CEO Pham Kim Hung, the $3.5 million investment capital which has just been called for would be used to develop an ecosystem of products with the orientation of a product-centric company.

One of the top priorities of the startup is expanding the staff to have 100 workers.

In the immediate time, True Platform will gather strength on building two important products for the international market – Success Platform, a customer-centric platform, and Rework Platform, a new operating platform within and among enterprises. Both platforms are scheduled to be launched this year.
