Nguyen Thanh Binh, deputy general director of the company, was arrested by the investigation agency of the Hai Phong City Police, which is working alongside the Ministry of Public Security and the HCM City Police.

The police also raided Binh's house in District 7 and seized several documents related to gold trading.

The police also arrested BBG's IT expert Vu Dinh Long.

Earlier, the investigation agency arrested Le Minh Quang, the General Director and Chairman of the company's management board.

BBG group reportedly operates an underground gold trading floor that has branches in cities and provinces across the country.

Major-general Do Huu Ca, director of the Hai Phong Police, told Thanh Nien (Young People) newspaper that the investors of BBG group across the country can go to police offices and declare the amount of money and properties they have given to BBG.
