Largest ever number of nests of rare sea turtles found in Thailand

Tonnes of garbage have been discovered dumped on beaches in southern Ba Ria-Vung Tau City.

 Tourist spots, hotels and amusement venues, and buses and ferries across the country were packed with holidaymakers during the four-day holiday that ended on May 2.

The beaches of Da Nang have become giant landfills with hundreds of tons of wood and rubbish drifting from the upstream. In Quang Ngai, people salvaged a lot of wood, including tree trunks of up to 1m in diameter, earning hundreds of US dollars.

Despite the predicted oversupply of hotels in the central region and the reported difficulties in tourism development, investors still have been strongly determined to develop more hotels in the sea cities in the region.
