VietNamNet Bridge – Models Dang Thi Le Hang, 23, and Hoang Thu Thao, 22, will represent Viet Nam in the Miss Universe contest and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2016, respectively.

The Miss Universe contest will be held in Manila from January 13 and 30. Hang, who hails from Da Nang, was among the top 10 in the Miss Viet Nam’s Ethnic Groups contest 2013, besides being the winner of the Elite Model Look VN2014 and the second runner-up at Miss Universe Viet Nam 2015. She is 1.73m tall and measures 81-64-89.

The traditional costume she will wear is to be selected through a design contest organised by Hoan Vu Company.

Thao, who will participate in Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2016, just competed in Miss Asia Pacific International in the Philippines last month.

The contest is being held in Shanghai between December 2 and 18. The Hai Phong-born model stands at 1.72m and measures 87-60-92.
