The display area is colored by paintings and livened up by sculptures and installations. The beauty of the country is presented via stunning landscapes, portraits or daily images of girls picking mangos or cyclo drivers in the rain.
The gallery comes alive due to the happiness of fishermen in an installation about the fish harvest season set in a corner and wooden sculptures depicting the charm of women who are portrayed as mothers, wives and artists.
The beauty of women seems to be the endless inspiration for artists so it is also depicted via portraits in ao dai or ethnic costumes of the northwestern region.
There are also some calligraphy works and sketches worth seeing. There are some fine arts products made in ceramic, bamboo and shells on display.
The show, which features pieces by 37 artists, will last until June 30 at the association office, 218A Pasteur Street in District 3.
