Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest returned for its 15th season on Tuesday night with a striking runway inspired by Vietnam's countryside, featuring more than 50 beauty queens, titleholders and contestants from Miss Grand Vietnam 2026.
Held under the theme Love My Skin, the show transformed the catwalk into a rural landscape using tons of real rice stalks, dried straw and a stage designed to resemble cracked earth, recreating the atmosphere of a traditional Vietnamese rice-drying yard.
The evening was divided into five chapters - Softness, Purity, Originality, Reverie and Pride - each showcasing collections by designers Vo Thanh Can, Lam Lam, Phung Minh Long, Mai Phuong Trang and Tang Thanh Cong.
Yen Nhi leads the dream-inspired collection
Reigning Miss Grand Vietnam 2025 Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi took center stage as the featured vedette during the Reverie segment, closing designer Mai Phuong Trang's collection The Reverie.
Dressed in a champagne-gold creation embellished with metallic details, Yen Nhi embodied what the design team described as the warm glow of late-afternoon sunlight over ripened rice fields.
The collection explored the boundary between dreams and reality through flowing silhouettes and the designer's signature hand-embellished craftsmanship.
Male pageant winner Tuan Ngoc also joined beauty queens and titleholders on the runway during the evening's presentations.
Contestants showcase personal style
The festival concluded with the Pride chapter, featuring leading beauty queens Huynh Tran Y Nhi, Luong Thuy Linh and Le Hoang Phuong alongside Yen Nhi.
Unlike previous editions, the finale did not feature a designer's collection.
Instead, all 30 Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 contestants selected their own outfits based on the event's theme, giving them an opportunity to express their individual personalities and fashion sense.
Minor runway mishap
One of the night's few unexpected moments came when contestant Mai Bao Han stumbled and fell while walking the runway.
The incident was brief, and the show continued without disruption.
Meanwhile, social media users reacted humorously to contestant Dinh Ta Bi, after noticing what appeared to be painted six-pack abdominal muscles as part of his runway styling.
Fashion King & Queen announced
The evening concluded with the presentation of the Fashion King & Queen title, awarded to the best-dressed couple.
The honor went to Miss Universe Vietnam 2019 Nguyen Tran Khanh Van and her husband, photographer Nguyen Long, whose coordinated appearance drew strong attention throughout the event.
Organizers also announced the six finalists for the Grand Fashion Award, one of the official fast-track competitions of Miss Grand Vietnam 2026.
The finalists are:
Trinh Yen Nhi
Ngo Bao Ngoc
Mai Tram Anh
Emoura Pham
Le Thi Trang
Nguyen Thi Diem Quyen
The winner will earn an automatic place in the Top 20 of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 final, scheduled for July 31.
