VietNamNet Bridge - The final exhibition of the “Beyond Structure” Program will take place at 4th floor, Agohub space, 12 Hoa Ma, Hanoi from December 17 to 21.

Taking place throughout November 2017, the workshop series leading up to this exhibition for “Beyond Structure” was an intense programme of lectures, focused practical tasks, problem solving and architectural investigation. 

These project classes – which investigate, analyse and propose options for reusing disused spaces in Hanoi – will now culminatein a showcase of the final results of the students’ ideas and thought processes.

The programme was a combination of four all-day workshops with 20 selected students, 10 speakers, two live Skype Q&A’s with architects practising in Spain – including two hours with Carlos Quintans, winner of the Golden Lion for the Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale – plus a film screening and dozens of specialised working hours, feedback and guidance from industry professionals.

In this exhibition you will see the result of these workshops, of young architects and students testing their ideas and boundaries within the framework of Hanoi and their own utopian outlooks. We will see their ideas and hopes and an expression of a new perspective on architecture as well as on Hanoi.
