The four-day fair will be organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology in cooperation with the governments of Hanoi and HCMC as well as Vietnamese and foreign agencies in the sector.
The organizers said 600 exhibitors including around 100 foreign firms have put their names down to showcase their products and services at the event at Hanoi International Center for Exhibition (ICE) on Tran Hung Dao Street.
Techmart Vietnam 2015 will feature a wide range of technologies and devices used to support the country’s programs for innovations, high technology applications, renewable energy and supporting industries. The exhibits will be ready-for-transfer technologies and equipment with quality assurance and lower prices compared to imports.
As part of a development plan for science and technology with a vision towards 2020 approved by the Prime Minister, the fair will focus on boosting cooperation among countries in Asia, the European Union and the United States in developing and transferring technologies.
The organizers said the fair will be a good opportunity for enterprises to introduce their new products and devices to potential customers.
