VietNamNet Bridge – 33 sacks containing 2.2 tons of rotten beef and buffalo meat was put in a hole for burning. However, observers left when the flame did not catch the meat yet. Immediately, some men picked up these sacks to put onto a truck and carried them to a pig puddings processing enterprise in Binh Duong.

At around 10am of April 18, the market control agency of Dong Nai province detected a refrigeration truck carrying 2.2 tons of rotten beef and buffalo meat from Hanoi to HCM City.

This volume of rotten meat was seized and brought to a cajuput forest in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, to be destroyed. This task was assigned to four employees of the Dong Nai market control agency and one from the Bien Hoa city veterinary station.

2.2 tons of rotten meat was put into a hole. After that, these people threw some pieces of firewood and poured 5 liters of gas into the hole and lit the firewood. However, the fire extinguished immediately and the five officials left the site, with the truck and the entire volume of rotten meat on the hole.

After they left, the truck driver, his assistant and nearly ten others picked up the 33 sacks of rotten meat back to the truck and carried it to a pig pudding processing enterprise in Thuan An town in the neighboring province of Binh Duong.

The truck left the enterprise after 20 minutes, before local officials came.

Local police have seized the meat and they are investigating the case.
