The match will be held at Tu Do Stadium in Hue.

Hanoi are very confident and eager to meet Binh Duong after beating them 2-1 in the qualifying round.

Binh Duong beat defending champions Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) 4-1 in a penalty shootout in the semi-finals on Thursday.

Faced with a young, fast-moving team, Binh Duong played on the counter-attack and managed to stifle their opponents.

Binh Duong goalie Thanh Tuan was awarded man of the match for his performance.

The team from the capital beat Viettel 1-0 in the other semi-final.

The event attracted the participation of 18 teams to compete in the annual event. They were divided into four groups and competed in a round robin format. The best seven teams reached the final round alongside hosts Thua Thien - Hue.

Last year, HAGL beat Viettel 3-0 in the final held at Binh Duong Stadium to take the title for the first time.
