VietNamNet Bridge – Admitting that part of local officials, especially officials working in the tariff and customs sectors have signs of harassment against enterprises, during the process of implementing administrative procedures, the Chairman of Binh Duong People's Committee has called enterprises for cooperating with the authorities to fight this problem.

"It is the fact that a number of officials harassing enterprises and the provincial government is well known about it and will seek measures to prevent this. When you face harassment, you should record the conversation as evidence to deal with harassment together with the authorities, in order to purify the system of government agencies and to make the investment environment healthy," said Chairman Le Thanh Cung at a workshop on South Korean investment.

Binh Duong held the top position for the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) for many years, but in the last two years it dropped to the fifth and the tenth positions in the rankings.
