VietNamNet Bridge – On May 29, a Russian tourist named Oksana Pavlova posted on her personal Facebook page photos of a beach covered by rubbish. The beach is said to be in Mui Ne of Binh Thuan province.

In this post, Oksana Pavlova wanted the Vietnam authorities to see her pictures and do something to clean the beach.
The photos were instantly shared on social networks and published online.
Upon receiving the information, Chairman of Binh Thuan province asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City to check the information and verify the location.
If the polluted beach is in Mui Ne, the site must be immediately cleaned and the situation must be reported to the provincial People’s Committee before June 10.
The Chairman of Binh Thuan also requested related agencies to check and review the management and organization of tourism services in Doi Duong – Thuong Chanh area to ensure a clean and friendly environment here.
This will be piloted in Doi Duong – Thuong Chanh and then implemented in other areas in Phan Thiet city and Binh Thuan as a whole.
Mui Ne is called the capital of resorts in Vietnam. This is a favourite destination of Russian tourists.
