Gia Lac Commune, Gia Vien District, in the northern province of Ninh Binh, is home to thousands of white storks and other birds.
The area is an alluring destination to tourists who like nature and wildlife.
Gia Vien District is located 10km north of Ninh Binh City, which has forests, mountains, plain, lakes, marshland and rivers.
The district is known for various tourism destinations like Van Long Nature Reserve Area, Kenh Ga Mineral Streamline, Van Trinh Cave, Bai Dinh Pagoda and Dich Long Pagoda.
Nature: The island was formed by silt on the Hoang Long River.
