Mr. Nguyen Tu Quang, CEO of famous technology and network security group Bkav, has become chairman of the newly established Artificial Intelligence Development Committee of the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA).

The committee aims at implementing training, forming a community of AI developers and applications, and honoring AI research and development efforts in Vietnam.

At its recent conference, Vinasa set its strategy in 2022, which is based on three main pillars: Technology, Connection and Community Development on the basis of establishing eight specialized committees, including the Committee for Development of Artificial Intelligence, chaired by Mr. Nguyen Tu Quang, who is also Vinasa Vice President.

The AI Development Committee is expected to pioneer the implementation of the National Strategy for AI research and development, promoting the formation of the AI ecosystem in Vietnam from academic research, development of platforms and solutions to promote AI applications.

Other committees were established by Vinasa including the Digital Transformation Committee for Businesses, Digital Government Development Committee, Smart City Committee, Startup Investment & Development Committee, Committee on International Cooperation, Committee on Policy and Committee on Community Development.
