VietNamNet Bridge - A blaze destroyed the Luxury Bar in Hanoi's Yen Phu Street and injured 13 people yesterday.

Initial investigations showed that the fire broke out about 11:30 pm when the Luxury Bar was full of customers. The blaze was brought under control after a nearly three-hour effort by hundreds of firefighters and more than 10 fire engines.

The police will start their investigations to identify the cause of the blaze this afternoon only, as there was excessive heat at the scene of the fire earlier.

Dr. Nguyen Thong, Dean of the Burn Ward at the Saint Paul Hospital says last night the hospital received 13 people who are victims of the fires at the Luxury Bar. Most of them suffered burns.
