After 5 days, the jury selected winning works in different categories. Vietnam’s movie “Blood Letter” took the award of the jury, the second most important prize for the feature film category.

In a press conference held several hours before the award ceremony, German director Jan Schuett, the chief judge of the feature film category, said Victor Vu’s “Blood Letter” was quite outstanding compared to other Asian films competing at the festival.

With a cost of VND25 billion ($1.2 million), this movie was launched early this year and received good feedback.

Victor Vu said: "It is a pleasure to attend and see my colleagues at the festival. This is a very special occasion. This prize is a great encouragement to me. "

The Best Feature Film Award is for the most outstanding film while the Prize of the Jury is for the movie that may not be the best, but it is a good film that the jury wants to encourage and introduce to the audience. This is the second most important award in the festival.

Another Vietnamese film competing in the festival, “Passion” by Phi Tien Son, was not highly appreciated by both experts and the audience.
