The unidentified deceased victims are two women, residents of the province’s Lak District.
Their bodies were found at around 7.30pm the same day.
The authorities are in search of boat driver Tran Van Hoc, resident of Krong Bong District, who is missing since the incident.
The boat, with 18 passengers on board, capsized when it was about to reach the riverside in Ea Trul Commune in Krong Bong District.
The other 15 passengers are safe.
The boat was leased to Tran Van Hoc by the authorities in 2014 to transport locals and goods across the river.
The two deceased women travelled by the boat every day for farming work in Ea Trul Commune.
