VietNamNet Bridge – A group of bridge builders were working at a construction site near the National Highway in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province when a bomb exploded, blowing away a stake press and injuring two workers on the afternoon of April 10.

The cabin was broken and filled up by mud and soil. The driver named Nguyen Van Hung was heavily injured. Two workers standing near the machine were blown away, one was wounded.

The pressure from the explosion caused a 10m long, 3-4m deep crack on the National Highway 1, causing congestion for several hours.

Injured workers were brought to a nearby hospital. The site was blocked for investigation.

It is said that a bomb left from war exploded when it was hit by the concrete steak press.
