VietNamNet Bridge – Players of the SHB Da Nang FC received nearly VND2 billion ($100,000) for the 3-1 win against Song Lam Nghe An FC. Members of Hoa Phat Hanoi FC recently had VND1 billion ($50,000) after defeating Ninh Binh FC and Thanh Hoa FC’s players had VND500,000 million ($25,000) after its triumph over Binh Duong FC.

SHB Da Nang trounced Song Lam Nghe An 3-1 in the 20th round of the national football championship V-League 2011. Thanks to this win, this club is only behind Song Lam Nghe An (4 points less) and they have the opportunity to touch the champion cup again.

The team’s coach, Le Huynh Duc, said that this game was the best of SHB Da Nang in the past three years. Its chairman – businessman Do Quang Hien was satisfactory with his players’ performance and decided to grant VND1.45 billion of bonus. Goalkeeper Thanh Binh had VND200 million ($10,000), three goal scorers earned VND50 million ($2,500) each. VND100 million ($5,000) belonged to the four fullbacks.

Thanh Hoa FC is known as a poor team, but after each winning game and even draws in the games with strong rivals, players have VND500 million ($25,000) of bonus. At V-League 2011, the club has had nine wins and five draws so the total bonus is estimated at over VND5 billion ($250,000).

SHB Da Nang and Hanoi T&T grant the highest bonus, with billions of dong (hundreds of USD) for important matches. Even Hoa Phat Hanoi, which is struggling to stay with V-League, granted VND1 billion of bonus to its players after defeating Ninh Binh FC. Thanks to this significant win, the team had 24 points, which could help them to not slip to the First Division Tournament next year. Hai Phong FC had billion dong of bonus after trouncing Khanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An or Thanh Hoa FCs.

V-League 2011 has entered the last stage and bonus is considered effective “dopes” for football players whose physical strength has been eroded after 20 rounds. The 21st round is the decisive stage. For SHB Da Nang, Hanoi T&T, Song Lam Nghe An, if anything happens, they will lose the advantage in the race to the championship. Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Hanoi ACB, Khanh Hoa and Dong Tam Long An may be one of the two teams that have to leave V-League 2012 if they lose in the 21st round.

Before this important round, managers of FCs have committed high bonus, with billions of dong for SHB Da Nang, Hanoi T&T, Hanoi ACB, Khanh Hoa, Dong Tam Long An; VND500 million for Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa; VND400 million for Song Lam Nghe An.
