VietNamNet Bridge – Serbia’s coach Bora Milutinovic has returned to Vietnam to seek young talents for Qatar’s Aspire Sports Academy under the “Football Dream” programme sponsored by Barcelona club (Spain).

The final round of selection scheduled for August 5-7 in Hanoi involves 30 young football players aged 13 and 14.

The best three of them will be summoned for a training course in Qatar’s Aspire Sports Academy next year.    

Milutinovic is known to have instructed five different teams at the World Cup events.

He now works as a technical advisor for the Aspire Sports Academy and the Qatar Football Association in the lead-up to the 2022 World Cup hosted by Qatar.

Two years ago, Milutinovic came to Vietnam to attend Thanh Nien (Youth) newspaper’s U21 International Football Tournament held in Pleiku City.

He said Vietnamese footballers are good at individual skills but lacking in strategic thinking.
