VietNamNet Bridge - On September 25, Mr. Vu Xuan Thanh, chief inspector of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the Ministry’s inspectors and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) are verifying the ownership of the SHB Da Nang and Ha Noi T & T football clubs and the role of Mr. Do Quang Hien in the two clubs.

Big boss wants to withdraw investment from two FCs

Mr. Do Quang Hien.

According to Thanh, inspectors went to Danang the same day to start their task.

The inspection team of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism includes Tran Quang Vinh, head of the sports inspection division, inspectors Nguyen Manh Hung and Cao Trong Dat. The two representatives of the VFF are Pham Thanh Long, chief inspector and Nguyen Thanh Tu, deputy chief of the legal division.

Recently Hien stated that he only holds 11 percent stake in SHB Da Nang and 15 percent stake in Hanoi T & T. Therefore, he is not the major shareholder who has the dominant role or manage the two clubs.

Tran Quang Vinh told Tuoi Tre that he had received the VFF’s previous report on Hien’s 11 percent stake in SHB Da Nang. Vinh added that it is not too difficult to see who is the real owner of the two FCs.

Mr. Vinh said the inspection group would work with the SHB Sports JSC (the owner of SHB Da Nang FC), the T & T Sports JSC (the owner of Ha Noi T & T FC), the state agencies where the two companies registered (if required) and consider footballer transfer contracts, etc. to find out the truth.
