VietNamNet Bridge – Boxers and martial artists are getting ready for big fights at the Saigon Sports Club Boxing Championship in HCMC at 6 p.m. on April 19.

At the event at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in District 11, the most expected fight will be between Vietnam’s national champion Nguyen Van Chung and Said Salem from the UK. This showdown will have five rounds lasting three minutes each.
The international boxing rules will apply to the competition.
In recent years, martial art has become trendy among teenagers and young adults in Vietnam. Therefore, the Saigon Sports Club, a 7,500-square-meter martial art complex specializing in combat martial arts like boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ (Brazilian JiuJitsu), Wrestling and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), is hosting the championship.
This is where potential fighters and national athletes will have the opportunity to spar with international martial artists.
Established in 2013, the Saigon Sports Club wants to introduce international standards to national martial artists.
