VietNamNet Bridge –Ireland's most successful boy band Westlife is set to perform for Vietnamese fans in the capital on October 1.

The band will play favourites such as Seasons in the Sun, Flying Without Wings, Uptown Girls and You Raise Me Up as well as new songs, notably Safe, I Will Reach You and No One's Gonna Sleep Tonight.

The performance is on Westlife Asian Tour to popularise their 11th album Gravity, which was released in November last year. Beside Viet Nam, other Asian destinations are Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines.

Westlife was formed in 1998 by members Mark Feehily, Shane Filan, Kian Egan and Brian McFadden. They soon became one of the top European boy bands with their typical pop ballad music.

Prior to the band's formation, Brian McFadden performed in Viet Nam as part of the Hennessy Artistry 2009 programme, along with Australian singer Lenka, English singer Paul Freeman and American band Boys Like Girls.
