On the morning of February 24, some officials of the Vietnam Professional Football JSC (VPF), which runs the V-League, and the V-League chief organizer - Mr. Pham Ngoc Vien paid a visit to Bruno and gave him VND5 million ($250).

The same day, an official of Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) FC - Mr. Do Hoang Hung also presented Brono VND10 million ($500), which was contributed by HAGL’s players.

Earlier, fans of the Quang Ninh Coal FC visited the Brazilian player to encourage Bruno in overcoming the injury.

Head of Quang Ninh Coal FC’s – Mr. Nguyen Khac Tiep said: "I have to go to Ho Chi Minh City to prepare for the next match, so all issues related to Bruno at the hospital will be taken care by my assistant. In addition, there is an interpreter at the hospital to serve him."

According to Tiep, the surgery at the Hong Ngoc Hospital, Hanoi, is very good. "Bruno's condition is stable now but we still have to wait for the doctor's decision. Bruno will be in the hospital for a week and then return to Quang Ninh to recover."

Bruno is more optimistic thanks to the attention of his team, fans and Vietnamese sports officials.

"I am very sad because the injury occurred when I and the whole team were in a very good performance. This injury is an accident in sports so I do not blame Vu Anh Tuan. According to doctors, the surgery was successful and I can practice again after 5-6 months," Bruno said.
