The contest will select the best dance team to represent Vietnam at the R16 Southeast Asia regional championships in the Philippines in late August.

The winner of the regional contest will then attend the R16 Korea World Finals in Seoul, the Republic of Korea (RoK) in September.

The event will attract the participation of famous domestic and foreign artists such as rapper Karik, DJ Red Ant, and DJ Bui Minh Tri.

R16 Korea is an annual international b-boy tournament and urban arts cultural festival sponsored primarily by the Korea Tourism Organization and the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The main event features sixteen B-Boy crews which represent fifteen countries to compete in a two-day tournament for world championship titles in two categories: best crew performance and best crew battle.

During the event, a wide range of cultural exchange activities will also be held including K-pop Lovers Festival, cuisine, art performances, and folk games.
