VietNamNet Bridge – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho Anh Tuan has asked relevant agencies to name singers, models and show organizers who broke the laws on the media.

To avoid granting performing licenses to show organizers and artists that violated the laws, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has asked provincial departments of culture, sports and tourism to update the list of violators in the last three years and send it to the Performing Art Agency.

Based on this list, individuals and organizations that broke the law systematically will be inspected.

The Deputy Minister also asked local departments to set up hot lines to receive information on violations in performing activities.

The Performing Art Agency is assigned to set up three working groups to combine with the Ministry’s Inspectorate to check performing arts in some key areas like Hanoi, HCM City, Thai Nguyen and Thanh Hoa before August 30.



The Performing Art Agency is requested to cooperate with the Departments of Law and Training to organize training courses on laws on performing arts and on art senses for artists, particularly young artists.

The Performing Art Agency is also asked to submit the plan on granting practice cards to artists and the draft circular on performing arts to the Ministry before July 15.

The Legal Department is assigned to amend the Decree on administrative fine on cultural activities, under which fines will be raised.
