VietNamNet Bridge – Lee Kirby, the British man who is known for his sweet voice in late composer Trinh Cong Son’s songs, will perform at the ATB club on August 11-12.

Vietnamese music absorbs my soul



Lee Kirby is singing with a Vietnamese friend.
The shows will open at 8.30pm at famous singer Anh Tuyet’s ATB club. Kirby will not only perform Trinh’s songs, but also songs by other Vietnamese songwriters.

Kirby will play guitar and sing well-known songs by Trinh Cong Son like “Diem of the Past”, “I dream myself a waterfall at night”, “Sand and dust”, Phu Quang’s “Hanoi’s Streets”, Nguyen Duc Cuong’s “Passionate Hanoi”, “You in my eyes”, Le Minh Son’s “My Hometown”, Tran Tien’s “Chapi Dream”, “Home”, Nguyen An’s “Forget” and others.

He will sing duets with his friend, an amateur singer named Vu Tien Loi, some English songs like Halleujah, Stand by me, etc.

Kerby performed at ATB Club last October. He says that depending on the show atmosphere, he will perform songs in sudden inspiration and talk with the audience.

ATB club at 197/4 Nguyen Van Troi, Phu Nhuan district, HCM City has organized shows for foreigners who love Vietnamese music like Richard Fuller (American) and Frank Gerke (German).

Lee Kirby began studying Vietnamese since 2004 and can play guitar very well. He was a football player of the HCM City Post Office team in 2003.
