Vietnamese and American artists will join hands to stage Broadway performances at the HCMC Conservatory of Music on January 16-17 at 8 p.m.

The shows are sponsored by the U.S. Consulate General in HCMC and administered by the HCMC Conservatory of Music. The participating artists began a 10-day training session last week.

The cast and choir are from the Conservatory of Music under the instruction of two Americans: Rhyn Saver, a Broadway artist from New York, and John Ferguson, executive director/musician from American Voices. Vietnamese guest singers include Ha Tram and Khanh Ngoc.

This will be the last program in a year-long series of events organized by the consulate to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Vietnam.

Tickets are free, but will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis, starting on January 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the HCMC Conservatory of Music, 112 Nguyen Du Street, District 1.
