As many as 150 outstanding carved and ceramic products are being showcased at the bronze book and engraved wood exhibition, which opens in the Central province of Thua Thien- Hue on April 24 as part of the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2015.
Highlights of the display include 27 bronze books of various sizes and 16 ceramic objects from My Thien, Chau O and Quang Ngai. In addition, 54 engraved wood pieces, discovered by the provincial branch of the Vietnam Institute of Culture and Arts Studies, are also showcased at the event.
On the same day, antiquarian Lam Du Xenh from Quang Ngai central province presented 69 Chu Dau ceramic objects to the provincial Museum of History and Revolution.
The exhibition features the spiritual life, traditional beliefs and rituals of residents in central provinces while promoting the virtuoso carving techniques of Vietnamese traditional craft villages.
The event will run until May 25.
