The drums will have traditional patterns and images of Vietnam’s cultural heritage like Hue imperial city, Hoi An ancient town, My Son holy land, Thang Long royal citadel, etc.
The funding for this project will be mobilized from the Vietnam Heritage Association, the Vietnam Historical Sciences Association and private firms.
Bronze drums are national treasures of Vietnam that show the country’s spirit of building and defending the country. The bronze drum is worshipped as a deity at the Dong Co Temple in Thanh Hoa and Hanoi.
