VietNamNet Bridge – While digging the foundation of a pig farm in the central province of Nghe An, a group of builders detected hundreds of bombs and mines. Some people collected them to sell to scrap traders.









On May 10, while using a bulldozer to level the ground to build a big farm in Dien Yen commune, builders unveiled hundreds of bombs and mines, which covered 10sq.m were nearly half of a meter depth.

There are many traces of war in this area, such as pesticide warehouses and bombs and mines. Besides rusty bombs and mines, there were shining ones.

The building firm tried to stop locals from taking bombs and bullets from the site. However, while waiting for sappers, builders kept leveling the area.

The local military command is working on a plan to deal with this ground of bombs and mines.
