VietNamNet Bridge – The fatal accident happened at 10am of September 3, on National Highway 1A in the northern province of Nam Dinh, killing at least six people while another was in critical condition.

Witnesses said that the bus was running on the way when a young man driving a motorbike unexpectedly passed the road. The bus driver braked sharply and encroached into the opposite lane.

At the same time, there were five motorbikes running on the opposite direction. They were crushed into by the bus.

Consequently, all motorbike passengers were died or were injured. Two of them died on the spot, four died at a hospital and the remaining one was in critical condition.

At the scene of accident, five motorbikes were completely deformed.

The name of the bus driver has not been defined yet.

The accident caused traffic jams of nearly 5km long, within two hours.
