Hoozing is one of four Vietnamese startups that are named in “Forbes Asia 100 to Watch” list.

They include Hoozing, Logivan, Lozi, and Med247.

Hoozing

Originally founded in 2015, Hoozing’s app provides user reviews, price calculation tools, and digital payment options in order to speed up the process of property leasing and sales.

Hai Le, CEO of Hoozing, has stated that despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the business earned approximately US$1.1 million in revenue last year, adding the company will become profitable by the end of the year with US$2 million in revenue.

Logivan

Set up in 2017, Logivan allows companies to quickly locate and hire truck drivers who might otherwise go on return journeys with no cargo.

According to Linh Pham, CEO of Logivan, the company has more than 60,000 drivers working for major firms, including the likes of Coca-Cola, Olam, and Wilmar.

She notes that Logivan has successfully raised US$8 million, including from Insignia Ventures Partners and K3 Ventures.

Med247

First established in 2019, the offline-to-online health provider offers round-the-clock care through tech-driven health services through its app to full-service clinics.

According to Tuan Truong, CEO of Med247, the company has successfully raised US$1 million and aims to upscale through establishing new partnerships.

Forbes note that in order to select the list, it had to solicit online submissions, whilst also inviting accelerators, incubators, SME advocacy organisations, universities, venture capitalists, and others to nominate companies.

The final 100 was therefore carefully selected from over 900 submissions. In order to qualify for consideration, companies must be headquartered in the Asia-Pacific region, be at least one year old, privately owned, for profit, and have no more than US$20 million in its latest annual revenue or total funding as of August. 1.
