VietNamNet Bridge - A few weeks ago snow fell in Sapa and along the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, creating spectacular and exotic scenes. However, as soon as the snow melted, it left a scene of devastation in the mountain villages. Locals are facing numerous difficulties caused by the harsh weather.
A group of photographers, under the assistance of the MGallery Hotel de l'Opera Hanoi, will display and sell their photos of Sa Pa in snow to raise fund for ethnic minority kids in the northern mountainous provinces of Lao Cai and Yen Bai.
The photos will be also on the VietNamNet and Infonet online newspapers.
Readers who buy the photos will receive the pictures via EMS, a thank-you letter and the author's signature as below:

The photographs on display will also be presented to those who are willing to donate at least VND1 million ($50) for each picture.
The entire amount raised from the photo sale will be used to buy books and school supplies for ethnic minority children in Lao Cai and Yen Bai.
You are invited to visit the Hanoi Opera Hotel to order a cup of coffee, admire the beauty of Sa Pa in pictures, and if you like any picture, do not hesitate to contact the hotel receptionists to donate and let them know the picture you like.
The photos are displayed at the hotel from the afternoon of December 24, 2013 through January 1 2014.
You can also buy the pictures or donate to mountain kids through VietNamNet, 3rd flood of C'land Building, No. 156 Xa Dan 2 Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi; Tel: 0923457788; email: banbandoc@vietnamnet.vn.
