VietNamNet Bridge – The authorities have revoked the title “Emulation Example” of the director and deputy director of the Ca Mau Provincial Department of Construction, said Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Vice Chair of the southern-most province of Ca Mau.

Director Nguyen Quoc Dinh, who is also the chair of the Emulation Board of the Ca Mau Department of Construction, had been reprimanded by the local Party Cell and the government but he still rewarded himself with the title “Emulation Example.”

The deputy director of this department, Mr. Tran Hong Dan, who had been criticized for some violations in 2012, also received this title. The act has upset the public.

Ca Mau’s Vice Chair - Nguyen Tien Hai, said that the provincial authorities have withdrawn the title of the two officials and asked the Emulation Board of the department to review the case and its responsibility.

Ca Mau province has also revoked the title "Two-good Woman" of Mrs. Chung Ngoc Nhan, a member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. When she was still in office, Nhan was involved in a suspected corruption case, which is now under investigation.

The Emulation Board of the Ca Mau Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has been requested for reviewing its mistakes.
