It was built over the past year at a cost of VND300 billion (US$14.28 million) by France’s Poma Company, said Le Minh Hung, General Director of the project owner - An Giang Tourism Development Joint Stock Company.
Also called Thien Cam Son, the 710m-high Mount Cam is located at the heart of the That Son (Seven Mounts) range in An Hao commune, Tinh Bien district. It is home to religious facilities such as Van Linh and Phat Lon (Big Buddha) pagodas along with natural beauties like Thanh Long Lake, Thuy Liem Cave, and Ong The Cave.
The mount, attracting over 3 million visitors every year, was recognised as one of the five typical tourist sites of the Mekong Delta by the region’s Tourism Association.
