On the same day, Tran Thanh Man and Samdech Khuon Sudary presided over the inauguration of Cambodia’s new National Assembly Administrative Building. The structure, a gift from Vietnam, symbolizes the enduring solidarity between the two nations.

Speaking at the event, Tran Thanh Man remarked that the building stands as a testament to the Vietnam-Cambodia friendship, dating back to a state visit by former General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in July 2017. Construction of the building began in December 2021.

The project, completed in November 2024, was built on a 27m x 49m plot with 12 floors and two underground parking levels. Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, it was finished on schedule and met safety, quality, and aesthetic standards.
