Canadian pop band Braids.

“Deep In The Iris,” Braids’ third and latest release which was unveiled in April, deals with some heavy subject matters of abuse, pornography and isolation. While this may be a little too much for some, there is still an ethereal beauty about the record that enchants while depicting a reality that resonates in equal measure.

The band which was described “as mesmerizing and vertiginous as desire can be” by the New York Times is brought to Vietnam by Loud Minority, an organization bringing quality international acts to Vietnam, as well as develop local talent, encouraging young Vietnamese people to make their own music, and Pasteur Street Brewing Company, an American craft brewery located in Saigon.

Cargo’s new Back Stage venue will host the band’s first show in Vietnam and promises to be another special Loud Minority show. Guests to the show will be able to enjoy some delightful craft beer of Pasteur Street Brewing Company.

Tickets are priced from VND150,000 (for students) to VND250,000 (in advance) and from VND250,000 (for students) to VND300,000 (at the door).
