VietNamNet Bridge – Nguyen Duc Canh, the former national assistant coach, has been appointed to manage Vissai Ninh Binh following Nguyen Van Sy dismissal after his team's 0-4 loss to SHB Da Nang on Sunday.

Nguyen Van Thinh, who achieved success with former V-League champions Song Lam Nghe An, will be Ninh Binh's technical director.

"Ninh Binh players will support Canh because he deeply understands his players. Both Canh and Thinh will not be put under any undue pressure," said Pham Van Le, the team's managing director.

"We believe that with experience, talent and good tactics, they will help the team play better," Le added.

"I know it is not an easy task for me. However, I believe I will do well if I receive the players' support," Canh said.

After 14 matches, Ninh Binh have gained just 15 points and now rank 11th in the V-League.
