VietNamNet Bridge - While other regional countries have shut down some cement plants and stopped developing new projects, Vietnam is doing the opposite.

 VietNamNet Bridge – A number of cement plants have been taken off the list of proposed plants in the country’s development plan for the industry, in an effort to “tidy up” the national industry.

People in Duy Tan, Hai Duong province laid a siege to a chemicals plant in the locality for one month, because they believed the plant was the culprit that caused the serious pollution to the environment and the death of tens of local people.
