On January 31, the Central Committee of Internal Affairs received personnel and facilities from the Office of the Central Steering Committee on the Prevention of Corruption. Meanwhile, the Central Steering Board for Anti-corruption, led by the Party Secretary General is coming soon.

With over 80 employees, the Central Committee of Affairs Committee will first work as the standing body of the Central Steering Committee for Anti-corruption. The committee will receive personnel from the Legal Department and the Department of Internal Affairs of the Office of the Central Steering Board for the Prevention of Corruption later.

On February 1, the Central Committee of Economics also received 30 employees from the Department of Economic and the Department of Social Affairs of the Party Central Office, to work as the advisory body to the Central Party Committee, particularly the Politburo and the Secretariat on social-economic fields.

Earlier, in order to promote procedures for personnel, apparatus for these committees, the Central Party Committee’s Secretariat appointed two deputy heads, with Pham Anh Tuan as the vice chief of the Central Committee of Internal Affairs and Bui Van Thach as vice chief of the Central Committee for Economics.

Tuan is a doctor of law. He used to be the head of the Government Office’s Law Building Department and Vice Chief of the Office of the Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption.

Thach is a doctor of economics and used to be the chief of the General Department of the Central Party Committee Office and Vice Chair of Binh Phuoc province.

The Central Committee of Internal Affairs will use the office of the Anti-Corruption Steering Committee while the Central Department of Economics will use the offices of the Departments of Economic and Social Affairs of the Central Party Committee Office.

In the latest news, the Politburo has appointed Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An province as the vice chief of the Central Committee on Internal Affairs.

Before becoming the Party Secretary of Nghe An Province in October 2010, Trac was Vice Party Secretary and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nghe An.

Trac was born in 1958, graduated from the University of People's Security, criminal investigation faculty.

As such, the Central Committee of Internal Affairs currently has two deputy chiefs, Phan Dinh Trac and Pham Anh Tuan. The chief is former Party Secretary of Da Nang city Nguyen Ba Thanh.

The Central Committee for Internal Affairs is going to meet for the first time on February 4.

The committee is the advisory agency of the Central Party Committee, particularly the Politburo and the Secretariat on anti-corruption and internal affairs.
