VietNamNet Bridge - Chairman of the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau – Mr. Tran Minh Sanh, 57 – suffered from a stroke at his home last week and is now under special care in the Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.

It is reported that Sanh had a stroke in the toilet at his home in Long Tan commune, Dat Do district in the evening of November 7. His family took him to the Ba Ria Hospital for emergency.
The Cho Ray Hospital’s doctors were requested to perform a brain surgery for Sanh in Vung Tau City. On the morning of November 8, Sanh was transferred to the Cho Ray hospital.
Mr. Vo Thanh Ky, Chief of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial People’s Committee Office, said Sanh was being under special care of doctors and he surpassed the danger.
During Sanh’s time in hospital, Mr. Ho Van Nien, Vice Chairman will temporarily cover Sanh’s power.
