On April 21, National Citizen Bank (NCB) announced a decision on appointing Ta Kieu Hung to the post of Acting CEO of the bank. 

Hung joined NCB in December 2022 as deputy CEO.

NCB has dismissed Do Thi Duc Minh from the post of deputy CEO and put her in the post of head of the supervisory board of NCB.

Agribank appointed three deputy CEOs at the same time, raising the total number of the board of management to 10. The three new deputy CEOs include Phung Thi Binh (head of the appraisal and credit approval division), Hoang Minh Ngoc (director of Gia Lam branch) and Le Hong Phuc (director of Agribank Hai Duong branch).

At the Military Bank, Le Huu Duc resigned from his post as chair of the board of directors, while Luu Trung Thai was placed in the post for the remaining time of the 2019-2024 tenure. Pham Nhu Anh holds the post of deputy CEO.

On April 12, SHB Bank made public a resolution of the board of directors about the appointment of deputy chair of the board of directors in 2022-2027. 

The candidates are members of the board of directors and deputy CEOs Do Quang Vinh and Do Duc Hai.

The fact that Vinh has been appointed to the post shows that the ‘rising star’ in the finance and banking market has made great strides in the path of taking over the career of Do Quang Hien. 

Just days before, SHB appointed Tran Xuan Huy, born in 1972, to the post of deputy CEO in charge of the southern market, starting March 1. 

Huy was manager and a high ranking leader on the board of management and board of directors, and a strategic advisor at many banks. He was CEO of Sacombank.

LienVietPostBank also has the new CEO. Ho Nam Tien, born in 1971, who was deputy CEO has been appointed to the post of CEO since March 17 to replace Pham Doan Son.

However, the event that attracted public attention the most was Vietcombank’s appointing of Nguyen Thanh Tung as its CEO from January 30. Tung has been working for Vietcombank for 26 years and he joined the board of management in August 2021.

Le Thi Bich Phuong, born in 1977, is now acting CEO of ABBank, while Loic Faussier is CEO of SeABank.
