The show will take place at 8pm, November 12, at the National Convention Center as schedule.

Earlier, the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on October 19 withdrew its license for the show owing to advertising violations committed by the show organizer – Bich Ngoc Company. The department also imposed VND11.5 million fine on this firm.

On November 7, the department’s director Pham Quang Long, announced that the show will not be organized in Hanoi within six months.

Long said that he has not received the Performing Art Agency’s announcement about its licensing to Che Linh show. “I did not license this show and I do not know who has granted license,” Long said.

He added that according to the law, there are two agencies that have the power to grant performing license: departments of culture, sports and tourism of provinces and the Performing Art Agency.

Singer Che Linh was very happy, saying that he was very worried when his show faced technical problems.

“The continuity of this live show has a great meaning to me. It shows the welcome of the audience to me and my colleagues. The second live show in Hanoi will be a chance for me to show my gratefulness to the audience and the home country after many years. I hope the audience will satisfy with songs from my heart,” Che Linh said.

Che Linh live show in Hanoi will have the presence of many famous overseas Vietnamese, like Son Tuyen, Huong Lan, Thai Chau, Manh Dinh, Duc Huy and MC Ky Duyen.

The show organizer has stated to donate VND800 million ($40,000) to disabled children in Hanoi, Hau Giang and Ben Tre.
