Authorities of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region have recently announced the extension of working hours at the Youyi Guan and Dongxing border gates, counterparts of Vietnam’s Huu Nghi and Mong Cai gates, respectively, from July 1.

Accordingly, entry and exit times at the Youyi Guan will span from 8:00 am to 21:00 pm every day, one hour later than the current 20:00 pm, while that for import and export activities will be extended by one hour and a half, from 8:00 am to 19:00 pm instead of the previous 17:30 pm (Beijing time).

Meanwhile, Dongxing border gate will open for immigration activities from 8:00 am to 21:00 pm, one hour later than the current closing time of 20:00 pm, while import and export times will remain unchanged, continuing from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm.

The extension of operational times aims to facilitate cross-border travel and trade between the two countries.

Currently, Guangxi has 12 border gates connecting the province with Vietnam.
