A water-color exhibition from 30 artists from the Chinese artist club in HCMC and members of HCMC Association of Fine Arts on Tuesday opened at the association, featuring more than 70 pieces.

Arts lovers will have a chance to admire works by artists such as Truong Han Minh, Ly Tung Nien, Ly Khac Nhu and Truong Lo, who are masters of traditional Chinese watercolor paintings in Vietnam.
The paintings cover a wide spectrum of subjects such as peach blossom, bamboo, flocks of swallows and phoenix, landscapes around Vietnam, daily lives of fishermen in fishing villages along coastal areas and ethnic people in highland regions. Some artists also use a new style with new expression like abstract to modernize themes of traditional arts genre.
These are new works presenting traditional language of Chinese people’s arts which live and breathe the contemporary arts spirit.
The show runs until September 6 at the association, 218A Pasteur Street in District 3.
